Lapiplasty 3D Bunion Correction

Lapiplasty Can Help Correct Bunions

For people suffering from bunions, the advanced team at the Shasta Ortho Foot & Ankle Institute offers the latest treatments, including lapiplasty.

What are Bunions?

Bunions are bony bumps that form—typically—at the base of the big toe and may be the result of hereditary foot structure, foot stress or injury, or a birth deformity.  When some of the bones in the front part of the foot move out of place, the tip of the big toe gets pulled toward the smaller toes. This forces the joint at the base of the big toe to stick out, resulting in soreness, pain, and restricted movement.

One procedure used to treat bunions is Lapiplasty 3D Bunion Correction.
