Farzad Sabet, MD
Dr. Farzad Sabet graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in 2001. He began his four-year residency program at Long Island Jewish-North Shore Health System. The first year of his residency was in the field of surgery at North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) at Manhasset. That year, NSUH was ranked the number one hospital in America by AARP.
Dr. Sabet then completed his residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
Following his residency in July of 2005, Dr. Sabet was accepted for a fellowship program (subspecialty) at the Spine Institute in Cleveland Clinic, OH. This fellowship concentrated on non-surgical treatment of neck and back pain. The Cleveland Clinic was ranked in the top three hospitals by US News & World Report's 'America's Best Hospitals' survey.
Dr. Sabet is board certified and he is a diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He strongly believes in treating a person as a whole rather than treating the symptom(s) in isolation. He emphasizes that human beings are much more than a group of organs and need to be treated as such.
Dr. Sabet and his wife, Marikit, have three daughters and all enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with each other.
