Forrest Monroe, MD

Dr. Forrest Monroe is a fellowship-trained pain management physician. He received his BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley and his MD from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He then completed his anesthesia residency and his fellowship in Multidisciplinary Pain Management at the University of Kansas Health System. His training in one of the highest volume fellowships in the country gives Dr. Monroe unparalleled pain management experience and skills. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, running with his dog, and spending time outdoors with his family. As Northern California natives, Dr. Monroe and his wife are thrilled to bring their 3 children home to the North State.

Dr. Monroe believes that people should not have to live with severe chronic pain. He is committed to caring for the whole person and ensuring each patient receives comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment to maximize their functionality and quality of life. He specializes in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for the management of chronic pain including: nerve blocks, epidurals, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation, and minimally invasive procedures for spinal stenosis. He has a special interest in spinal cord stimulation for the management of chronic back and limb pain.
