Eric Jenkinson, MD
Dr. Jenkinson is a non-operative musculoskeletal physician, specializing in sports medicine and trained to treat a broad range of orthopaedic conditions.
The Indiana native played football during his undergraduate studies at Taylor University, then attended Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Jenkinson completed his residency in pediatrics at the DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Dr. Jenkinson also taught as an associate clinical professor at Michigan State University. He continued his education with a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Ball Memorial Hospital/Central Indiana Sports Medicine, in Muncie, Indiana.
During his medical training, he was a volunteer with Special Olympics, the Community Outreach Program, and for the Olympic swimming trials. For the past ten years Dr. Jenkinson has been a high school football coach.
He is a member of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, American Association of Pediatrics, and is Board Certified in Pediatrics.
Awards received by Dr. Jenkinson include Resident Teacher of the Year and Team Physician of the Year in Indiana.
Dr. Jenkinson and his wife have three children. He enjoys exercising, athletic activities, and woodworking.
