Dr. Rachel Hoyal, DPM, DABPM, FACPM
Dr. Rachel Hoyal is a board-certified podiatric surgeon specializing in foot and ankle trauma, reconstructive surgery, limb salvage, and wound care. She earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Samuel Merritt College in 2007, graduating with honors. Following her education, she completed a rigorous three-year surgical residency at St. Mary’s/UCSF, where she gained extensive experience in advanced foot and ankle procedures.
Dr. Hoyal has been serving Sonoma County since 2010, working alongside her father, a respected podiatric surgeon who has been practicing since 1975. In March 2025, she joined the Foot & Ankle specialists Shasta Orthopaedics in Redding, bringing her expertise and passion for patient care to the community she fell in love with over a decade ago.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Hoyal is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys fishing, diving, hunting, hiking, and running marathons—fully embracing the beauty and adventure of Northern California.
